Born in Vilnius, Lithuania. 1950 

1961-1977      

Studied in the Department of Sculpture at the M.K.Chiurlionis Art School, Vilnius. Completed first and second degrees with distinction at the Lithuanian State Academy of Art in Sculpture and Art Pedagogy.

1970-1990      

Participated Solo and Group  exhibitions, national and international, competitions for memorial sculptures, being awarded Prizes and Distictions in some of them.

Placed three large memorial dedication outdoor sculptures, over 100 grave settings in locations throughout the former USSR. Created artistic medals as well as portraits and indoor sculptures.

‏1990               

Settled with his family in Israel and was listed as an Artist of Honorary Distinction.

Solo exhibitions of his works were first presented at the Association of Painters and Sculptors, Tel Aviv and at Yad Lebanim, Holon.

1991 -1993     

Head of Sculpture Department at the Avni College of Art, Tel Aviv.

1993-2014      

Founder and Headmaster of ”BASIS” School of Sculpture.

Director of “P.a.s.s.e.” Design and Sculpture workshop.

 

2014
