Artistic Medal Symposium in honor of sculptor Boris Schatz and the two academies he had established - National Academy of Arts in Sofia, Bulgaria and Bezalel Academy of Arts in Jerusalem, Israel.

The symposium was held between the three countries that had a major impact on Schatz life - Lithuania, his birth place, Bulgaria where he developed the methods how to teach visual arts in a local national context respecting the crafts and traditions significant to this country and Israel where he established the first art Academy that became the home of Jewish arts and crafts

39 sculptors - professionals and students took part creating a medal to commemorate the Man, his Vision and his Life work.

The symposium exhibition was opened simultaniously on B. Schatz 150'th birthday in Vilnius, Sofia and Jerusalem
